VDA BALLOONS IN SOLIDWORKS INSPECTION   VDA -  Verband der Automobilindustrie (Association of the Automotive Industry) is a German quality management system standard frequently used in Automotive Industry.   VDA balloons  are characterized by a drop shape. SOLIDWORKS Inspection is a First Article Inspection (FAI) and in-process inspection software that helps in automating the ballooning of engineering drawings and 3D files with Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) and Inspection reports. Minimizing the time needed to record inspection measurements.  SOLIDWORKS Inspection streamlines the creation of industry-standard inspection report (such as AS9102, PPAP, and ISO 13485). SOLIDWORKS Inspection can function both within SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD as an add-in and can work as standalone product.
