CUSTOM MATERIAL IN SOLIDWORKS

Image
SOLIDWORKS has an extensive large material library, but some of the users often need to create new custom materials for their project or design. The ability to add custom materials enables users to calculate an accurate mass or simulation of a part or assembly. You can create custom material by following the below steps: 1) Before creating a material, we will see how to add a material to a part or assembly A) In a part, materials can be changed by going to the design tree, right clicking Material, and selecting Edit Material. 2) Now we have seen how to add material, now we will create a new material or custom material to the material library, For that you need to access material library, which can be done by searching in search box in SolidWorks or by going to Edit> Appearance> Material Edit 3) Ones the Material Dialogue box is open, scroll to the bottom of the material tree. Right click on custom material and select New Library, then create a New Category...

Design to Manufacturing Solutions for Brick Making Machine Industry

Image
Integrated SOLIDWORKS platform helps you to deliver Brick Making Machine on time by reduce manufacturing and operating costs. Modelling Benefits SOLIDWORKS is easy to use in a single platform – you can quickly go from an idea to a functioning product. Transition between 2D to 3D is easy without the need to convert legacy Data Rule Based Design Automation using DriveWorks Xpress Creation of 2D drawings from models, so the process is efficient. Visually review models in 3D and check for interference and clearance to ensure design fit, form functionality. Models changes in drawings are reflected in their related documents, so making design changes is easier and drawings are more accurate. Simulate for Success Linear Static analysis for Structural can be very costly and time consuming depending on the route you’re taking, especially if tests are being carried out on physical models Identify Slender structures under compressive loads SOLIDWORKS Simulation reduce t...

How Industrial Equipment Manufacturers can create Technical Manuals Faster and Easier?

Image
Introduction Preparing Technical Documentation is one of the challenging task for Content creators. They tend to create clear, simple and accurate documents which implies for their products. Usually step by step Documentation will make it easy to understand problems compound in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Organizations where each Industrial Equipment must be maintained  by maintenance department. Content creators tend to focus and crush their brain on document work word by word, pictures, symbols and shapes. However, small error can cause severe actions for users. So, what is the solutions for those heck and tense? Let’s move further! Free-up Mind and apply SOLIDWORKS COMPOSER SOLIDWORKS COMPOSER allows you to quickly create 2D and 3D graphical content to clearly explain and present your products or process. The tools let you work directly from 3D CAD data to create high quality illustrations, photo realistic images and interactive animations and to import...
