How to Use SOLIDWORKS FloXpress for Basic Fluid Flow Simulation?

Enabling Xpress Product:



1)    Go to TOOLS à Xpress Products à Floxpress.

2)While opening first time the software activates a windows ask to enter the Xpress product code.

3)    Code can be generated by Selecting the My.solidworks.com/xpress. 


4)    It asks for the Serial Key and the version for generating the code.

Once the code has been entered the add-in would be opened in the taskpane.

The Two opening of the inlet and outlet has been closed with the lid. On clicking the fluid volume, the volume of the fluid in the pump has been displayed.

The fluid type has been selected, water or air.

For inlet the pressure / volume flow rate/ mass flow rate can be assigned

   Similarly for outlet the face and the values has been given.

Once the inlet & outlet value has been given the flow has been calculated by selecting the solve option.

Also, can generate the report automatically.
