In SOLIDWORKS 2026, Creating sheet metal parts is more flexible and precise with the introduction of new options for Base Flange starting conditions. You can now choose exactly where the base flange begins when building your model. 

Available Starting Conditions: 

Sketch Plane, Surface/Face/Plane, Vertex, and Offset.
